Jack is an Associate Portfolio Manager with BlackRock, one of the largest asset management firms in the world. His career is incredibly demanding but Jack recommends viewers to find a company that stresses a healthy work-life balance like BlackRock does.

>> My name is Jack Sun [phonetic], and I am an Associate Portfolio Manager of BlackRock, based out of Princeton, New Jersey. So BlackRock is the largest asset manager in the world, with about $3.5 trillion globally. And we have offices, obviously in not just the US, but are out there all over the world. So my role is to manage our balance portfolios on the [Inaudible] Managed Accounts platform. Along with [inaudible] products. Fixing up products, ETFs, and mutual funds. There is somewhat of a routine to my day. So if you think about some of the things I'm doing, whether trading or managing portfolios; asset allocation. Those are part of the routine. What's not part of the routine is working with different clients on calls. Writing commentaries. Whether it's quarter-end material. Or month-end material. It depends on what's happening. It depends on what's happening in the world. And that's what keeps it exciting. It's not everything's set up the way it is. You have to think creatively and become innovative in what you're doing.
